The Word! Sound! Powah! Festival of Monodrama featured 25 artists-in-residence, 25 new works of art over 7 nights and 2 days. 15 monodramas, 4 visual art exhibits, a youth arts day, a wholistic health day and a keynote speech by the celebrated African-Canadian playwright Djanet Sears were presented. 21 artists graduated from the inaugural season.
